Returned Goods Policy

Acceptable Returns

  1. Merchandise damaged at the time it was received, said damage being attributed to the manufacturing process and not the result of transit or handling damage which occurred during the course of shipment.
  2. Merchandise shipped in error by Salter Labs.
  3. Merchandise returned within 90 days in saleable condition with written authorization.

Allowances for Acceptable Returns

  1. Full credit will be issued on merchandise authorized for returns on #1 and #2 above.
  2. There will be a restocking charge of 25% of merchandise invoice value for merchandise returned under #3 above.
  3. All merchandise must be sent freight prepaid. If the return is for reasons#1 and #2 above, credit will be issued for freight charges of the return shipment.
  4. Credits will be issued after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise. Please do not credit your own account.

Non-acceptable Returns

  1. Merchandise and packaging damaged in transit.
  2. Merchandise held over 90 days.
  3. Merchandise not in original case or in less than case quantities.
  4. Discontinued or redesigned products.
  5. Merchandise in unusable condition.
  6. Special order products.
